Since I go to high school, I live in the school and stay away from my parents. I have three roommates, at the beginning, we have trouble in staying in the same room, but now we have got used to it.
One of my roommates impresses me so much, since she comes to our room, she keeps the habit of reading the novel when we go to bed. She told me that when she lived with her parents, she dared not to read it because her mother would blame her for sleeping late. Now she is very happy that she is out of control, it seems that she is free.
But I feel sorry for her, because she is short-sighted now, what’s more, she is lagging behind other students in the study. Staying away from her parents, she is not strong enough to behave herself. We should have the strong will and behave ourselves.
自從我上了高中，我就住在學校，遠離父母。我有3個室友，剛開始，我們不習慣同處一室，但是如今，我們已經習慣了。有一個室友讓我印象很深刻，自從她住進我們的`房間，她就在我們睡覺的時候保持看小說的習慣。她告訴我們在她和父母住在一起的時候，她不敢看小說，因為她媽媽會責怪她那么晚睡覺。如今她很高興再也不受控制了，似乎她得到了自由。但是我為她感到遺憾，因為她現在已經近視，而且，在學習方面也落后于其他同學。離開了父母，她不夠強大，無法自律。我們應該有堅強的意志，并且自律。

three years ago my uncle gave me a dog, a naughty dog. i liked it very much. the dog was about one year old. i called him taotao. his two eyes are just like big lamps, both big and bright. he has long and white hair which makes him look like a white ball. his nose is like a button net to the eyes. he has a cute look. when we have meal he looks at us and barks at us. he seems to say:” why don’t you give me something to eat?”

The Chinese Dragon Boat Festival is a significant holiday celebrated in China, and the one with the longest history. The Dragon Boat Festival is celebrated by boat races in the shape of dragons. Competing teams row their boats forward to a drumbeat racing to reach the finish end first.
The boat races during the Dragon Boat Festival are traditional customs to attempts to rescue the patriotic poet Chu Yuan. Chu Yuan drowned on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month in 277 B.C. Chinese citizens now throw bamboo leaves filled with cooked rice into the water. Therefore the fish could eat the rice rather than the hero poet. This later on turned into the custom of eating tzungtzu and rice dumplings.
The celebration's is a time for protection from evil and disease for the rest of the year. It is done so by different practices such as hanging healthy herbs on the front door, drinking nutritious concoctions, and displaying portraits of evil's nemesis, Chung Kuei. If one manages to stand an egg on it's end at exactly 12:00 noon, the following year will be a lucky one.

Today I would like to introduce my favourite restaurant to you,which is called baihualin and is located near my college JiangNan University. If you ever go, you will always want to eat there. It’s attractive to us students for two reasons.
First of all, it’s decorated in an unique way which looks so nonmainstream and special. The shape of the lamps in the restaurant look like bottles which emit yellow lights and when your eyes adjust to that, you will find some interesting pictures and notes written by students on the wall. And of course you can do the same thing. Here are Various magazines waiting for you to browse through. Due to this decorating style,this restaurant are really make romantic and quiet atmosphere which attracts lovers and students who wants to chart with friends.
Secondly, the food is really yummy, I love steamed pork with rice flour(fenzhengrou) best, and fish cooked by different ways. Food cooked there is so delicate and looks delicious which is different from restaurants near seu in jiulonghu. Every time my friends and parents came to see me, I will take them there to eat. More than one year ago, my class held the graduate dinner there, though we destroyed the quiet environment, that’s a precious recollections.
I like the restaurant and recommand all of you to take a chance when it is possible. Because I'm sure that it won't leave you regreted.
